Insurance Adjusters

Florida recognizes and licenses three types of property insurance adjusters:

  1. Company Adjusters – Company adjusters are employed directly by a given insurance company.
  2. Independent Adjusters – Independent adjusters are independent contractors working for one or more insurance companies.
  3. Public Adjusters – Public Adjusters work for the policyholder/claimant, rather than working for insurance companies.

All three types of insurance adjusters occupy positions of public trust, in which they must balance the interests of the Policyholder, the Insurance Company, and the State.

Unfortunately, working directly or independently for an insurance company can create a conflict of interest when it comes to balancing the financial interests of the Policyholder with the interests of the Insurance Company.

Max Public Adjusting works for you to ensure your financial interests are protected.
